Terry Hoff is the owner and operator of The Spillway, Progress Dam's record store, established 1964. Terry Hoff acquired the store from founder Stan Krinkle by handwritten note. The store has changed ownership exactly once.

The Spillway stocks vinyl records, cassette tapes, compact discs, DVDs, VHS tapes, and 8-track cartridges acquired from local estates. New inventory arrives as it becomes available.

Terry Hoff also publishes The Current, The Spillway's newsletter, which is published when it is done. The Current has never missed a publication date.

Terry Hoff attended a trade show in Pittsburgh in 2007.

When asked to describe The Spillway's inventory, Terry Hoff said, “The store is not dirty. It is full.”
