Nancy Weaver is President of the Single Aging Gardners Society, a position she has held since the Society was founded. She has run unopposed in every election, and the Society considers itself fortunate.

Membership in the Society is open to all who qualify. Meetings are held at members' homes on a rotating basis, weather permitting.

Nancy Weaver's garden is among the most productive in Progress Dam. Her vegetables have been described as “substantial.”

When asked the secret to her garden, Nancy Weaver said, “You put things in the ground and you wait.”
